What members are saying...

After seeing many organizations I saw that SAASOA is very enterprising and are a core of the business community in and around Alabama. SAASOA is doing a lot of  good for the people in the community by doing many activities like Blood Camps, Health Fairs, Volunteering activities, Scholarships, etc. I am lucky to be a part of a group like this and I encourage my friends and community members to be a part of SAASOA.

  • In the nearly 2 years that we have been partnered with SAAAOA we have seen a growth in sales, profits and customer count in their group’s stores. The key to maximizing this is to become more seamless in execution, pricing and positioning. I am excited about the future with SAASOA and Coca-Cola.

    -Patrick Gueret, Coca Cola

SAASOA’s intention is to help their members and our community should support it by joining it. SAASOA is very committed to help our community and the financial profits are very substantial.

  • The attention to detail and the constant striving to attain complete compliance by it's members is a true testament to the dedication the leaders of this organization have to it's success.  I am proud, on the behalf of Hackney, to be associated with such a successful and influential group such as SAASOA.
    -Marty Howell, H.T.Hackney
SAASOA has not only successfully brought the businesses together, but they have also brought the communities together.

My relationship with SAASOA has been a huge influence on my personal and professional life. Over the past years I have learned on their culture and values and how important solid relationships are. I truly believe that their passion for the community is genuine.

Ark of India, Museum of Mobile

Mayor Stimpson Administration invited the prominent leaders of the Indian Community of Mobile for a preview of Ark of India exhibit. IAGM (Indian Association of Greater Mobile) and SAASOA represented our community. The Museum team wanted us to see the exhibit before it was open to public so that they can get some ideas on how to make the exhibit better. But, short of minor suggestions, the exhibit was great.

Jacob Laurence, the Senior Curator lead his team consisted of Scotty Kirkland, Jacqlyn Kirkland, and Ellie Skinner. The Museum team did an amazing job in putting the exhibit together. It brought back the memories of the old days. The days that we had only heard about in stories. All those stories came to life while at the exhibit.

We also thank City of Mobile for giving us the chance to be a part of our community.

SAASOA Meet & Greet August 28, 2014

One for the Books!

“Where can you find the top vendors in the industry, representatives from the City of Mobile, the Chamber of Commerce, distributors, wholesalers, and SAASOA’s members in one place? Only at a SAASOA event, of course!”

This past Thursday, SAASOA hosted a Meet & Greet to welcome our dear friends Bart Fletcher and Philip A. Chamblee to our growing community. It was one for the books, as the evening was fill with great speeches, delicious food, lovely entertainment, and brilliant company!

Our guests of honor, Bart Fletcher, the president of P&CMA (The Petroleum & Convenience Marketers of Alabama ) and Philip A. Chamblee, the president of MPMCSA (The Mississippi Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores Association) both gave equally brilliant and informative talks about their respective experiences and how they have used the knowledge gained in their current practices.

Bart Fletcher & Phillip Chamblee being honored by Mahesh Batavia!
